Anointed Steps Dance Ministry School Opens
Carmelita Millett is set to open the “Anointed Steps Dance Ministry School,” which she said will provide all genres of dance with a spiritual foundation.
Mrs. Millett said she always wanted to start her own dance school, and her desire is that every student that will come through the doors of the School will “have an experience that will change their lives forever.”
She hopes that every student will use their gift in the arts for the honour and glory of God, and her motto for the school is “Not just learning to dance…But learning to dance under the anointing!”
Located at the old Berkeley campus, The Anointed Steps Dance Ministry School will offer Ballet, Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Step, Liturgical Dance, Mime, Flags, and African Dance to students starting from 3 years of age to mature. The school said they will equip all ages with technique while providing spiritual lessons and guidance pertaining to dance and movement.
Anointed Steps Dance Ministry School will also provide teaching to churches that want to start dance ministries or who already have dance ministries, but want to go to the next level.
Registration and Orientation for Anointed Steps Dance Ministry continues on May 2nd at 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Old Berkeley Institute Campus.
A Grand Opening event will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in the Old Berkeley Institute Campus at 3:00 p.m. There will be food and performances featuring New Creation Worship Center’s Dance Ministry [Anointed for Praise Warriors] and many more.
