This won’t be a big miss. Can never get a live person when calling a Government number anyway!!

Any excuse for a day off after a holiday. Only in gov. lololololol

    • Selective Memory says:

Where in the article does it say govt workers have the day off? The article indicates govt departments who use 2955151 have been impacted. In case you don’t understand, if you dialed the number you wont get to anyone! Duh!

      • Lick My Chicken says:

Any normal person would know where I was going with the comment. Read between the lines. Duh!

  3. Good Stuff says:

      ???

      • Tolerate says:

Don’t go there. You obviously don’t know the state of a few Government Phone Systems. Remember to cross your fingers when dialing 911. And NO; it’s not due to incompetent technicians.
Just don’t have the money. But to be fair, the island was affected by a serious electrical (lightning) storm that damaged quite a few private systems as well.

  5. Triangle Drifter says:

    Will anyone notice a difference?

Try calling on the best of days. The person you are looking for is on holiday, on another line, in a meeting, sick, just stepped out etc. etc. anything but available.

  6. Mumbojumbo says:

I am sorry….I don’t believe this….you obviously do not wish to respond to something…and are hoping through time they will stop calling…….it’s gonna be there when the phoney re….establishes itself…magically!
