Photos/Videos: Gibbons Company’s Gap Launch
Gibbons Company has begun selling Gap, the iconic international brand, hosting a Grand Opening last night [May 15] at their Hamilton store.
The Gap Summer 2014 collections are available at the Gibbons Company department store starting today, with areas in the store dedicated to featuring Gap collections will be the Women’s, Men’s, and Kids & Baby departments.
According to the Gap website, “Our collections are a modern interpretation of our denim roots and signature pieces that are a staple for every wardrobe. Gap embraces a youthful, infectious spirit and the freedom to express individual style.
“For nearly 45 years, our iconic pieces have revolutionized retail and our brand has transcended generations. We’ve grown from one store to more than 1,600 company-operated and franchise retail locations around the world, 344 outlet stores, and we’ve expanded our online presence to more than 98 countries.”
“We are proud to announce our partnership with Gap and are excited about introducing the brand to Bermuda,” said Paula Clarke, CEO of Gibbons Company. “We know that our customers are going to truly enjoy the opportunity to have access to the Gap brand.”

I love the gap jeans but am scared to see what the prices will be. I usually get them away when there’s a sale as the jeans are around the $70 price bracket. I cringe to think how much they’ll cost here. I’m a bargain shopper myself with a family of five to buy for.
Cant wait for Home Depot or Lowes.
Just make sure the prices are the same as online or in the states and I’ll happily shop at gibbons.
ll change!…mind de GAP please!…MAWHAAaaaaaaaaa!!!
All…
Lol Gaps is not made in the USA anymore. There made in China and you are gonna sell it as high end product. Get a grip folks are not fools to fall for this one BUT THAN AGAIN.
I agree hopefully Gap prices not Bermuda prices
Don’t forget, Gibbons has to ship the products here, pay duty, etc. before they price the goods. So you have to expect some price hike.
Don’t forget many of Gibbons products are already priced as US prices!
Superb photos and great coverage Bernews! Look forward to checking it out next time I’m in Hamilton!
