BNA Netball Power Play Knockout Tournament
The Bermuda Netball Association hosted a Power Play Knockout Tournament at the Bernard Park.
The rules for this new tournament saw teams play Round 1 which was a Single Elimination match, with each team allowed a Power Play in one of their 7 minute quarters. When scoring during their Power Play each goal was worth 2 points.
In the opening matches Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 26 – 8, while Butterfield Bank defeated BPSU 30 – 27.
Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds moved to finals, while BPSU moved on to play seed 1 B.U.T. Teachers
Teachers defeated BPSU 32 – 14 in the Semi-Final as the Teachers moved on to the Final.
In the Final Teachers defeated the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds 27 – 23.
