An Evening Of Jazz Featuring Conrad Roach

This Thursday [June 26] PinkSand Entertainment will host a Jazz Dinner Show at Victoria Grill’s Rumbar. The show, which starts at 7:30pm, will feature local musician Conrad Roach on Trumpet, with a 3-peice band including James Richardson on piano, Sidney Simmons on bass and Troy Washington on drums.

A spokesperson for PinkSand Entertainment said: “Jazz lovers are in for special treat as this event promises to be one for the ages. Conrad Roach is one of Bermuda’s finest and anyone who is lucky enough to see him perform will not be disappointed.”

Conrad Roach has performed with the Wall Street Band, Tom Ray Band and opened for numerous international starts such as Babyface, Brian McKnight and Gladys Knight to name a few.

Additionally he has performed with the Ojay’s, the Tempations and travelled throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean doing performances. Roach is the vice President of the Bermuda Philharmonic Society where he plays lead trumpet.

The event, which includes dinner will also feature a special tribute to the late Dr. Maya Angelou – who has inspired us all with her thoughtful poems, books, and various other writings. PinkSand Entertainment is encouraging local and visiting music lovers to support this event and experience some of Bermuda’s best local talent.
