Full Results: 2014 Tokio Millenium Re Triathlon

The Tokio Millennium Re 2014 Sprint Triathlon was held yesterday [June 8], with Tyler Butterfield and Nikki Butterfield finishing as the top male and female participants, respectively.

The event featured five race categories, including Senior Individual, Senior Team, Try-a-Tri, Senior School Challenge, and the Junior Duathlon. The Sprint Triathlon involved a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run. The Try–a-Tri, designed for those new to the sport, included a 200m swim, 10km bike ride, and a 2km run.

Tyler Butterfield took first place overall in the event, recording a total time of 58:15. He was followed by Tyler Smith, who finished just under four minutes later with a time of 1:02:14, with Jonathan Herring rounding out the top three with a time of 1:03:16.

Nikki Butterfield, finishing with a time of 1:06:53, ranked as the competition’s top female, while Bermuda’s top Paralympian, Jessica Lewis was also in the field, competing with Team Tokio.
