Footballer Reggie Lambe Eyes England Return
Bermuda’s Reggie Lambe is heading back to English football, hoping he can follow in the footsteps of fellow countryman Nahki Wells.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Lambe is heading back to England this summer and a number of League 1 and League 2 clubs are already showing an interest in his services.
Lambe told Sky Sports: “I am heading back to England and I am determined to make an impact. I have unfinished business in England and my two seasons in the MLS have taught me a lot.
“I have seen Nahki go on to great things and I am so happy for him, but I know I can do the same.”
Lambe’s agent, Dan Chapman of Full Contact, told Sky Sports: “Reggie is now ready to return to England. He has really matured as a player since he left here and he has learnt to play on either flank or in a more central role.
“Once his contract in Sweden is up in July we are confident, given the interest shown so far, that he should have few problems in finding a club.”
Lambe moved back to Europe in March, signing a short-term deal with Swedish outfit Nykopings.
Prior to that, the 23 year old Bermuda international played for the Toronto Football Club in Canada, where he made 66 combined appearances, scoring five goals, and added four assists in two seasons.
