Phillips & Walikraam Win Amatuer Stroke Play
The final round of the 2014 Bermuda Amateur Stroke Play Championships was held today [June 16] at Port Royal Golf Course with Mark Phillips taking the men’s championship title with a total gross score of 289, with Jarryd Dillas in second place and Robert Vallis in third.
Men’s champion Mark Phillips:
In the Ladies Championship flight Tariqah Walikraam was the winner with a gross score of 261 and wasn’t seriously challenged after the overnight leader, Elizabeth Parsons had to withdraw due to a schooling commitment. In second place was Katrin Burnie and third place Linda Down.
