Tennis Davis Cup: Bermuda Fall To Costa Rica

Playing in their third match in the Davis Cup Americas Zone Group III Round Robin in Puerto Rico, Bermuda went down 3 – 0 to Costa Rica.

Gavin Manders was defeated by Ignaci Roca in straight sets 6-3, 6-1. David Thomas then went down in a three setter, he was defeated by Pablo Nunez, Nunez won the first set 6-2, but Thomas would fight back and win the second set 6-3, but Nunez would recover and win the third and final set 6-3.

Neal Towlson and Jenson Bascome then teamed up and were defeated by Alvaro Riveros and Julian Saborio in a three set battle. Towlson and Bascome easily won the first set 6-0, but from there Riveros and Saborio woke up and won the second set in a tie-breaker 7-6, the defeat took the stuffing out of
