HMS Argyll Commander Visits Warwick Camp
Commander [CDR] Paul Hammond of the visiting Royal Navy’s HMS Argyll made a courtesy call at Warwick camp yesterday [July 1] and met with Bermuda Regiment Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel [Lt. Col] Michael Foster-Brown.
The Type 23 frigate arrived in Bermuda this week and according to the Royal Navy’s website, the HMS Argyll will be conducting a wide range of tasks when on patrol including engaging with UK territories and partners providing reassurance and support, providing humanitarian aid and disaster relief during the hurricane season and supporting the counter-narcotics efforts in the Caribbean.
