What a terrible tragedy. May God provide the young man’s family with comfort and strength to help them deal with their loss. May God also comfort the elderly man and woman because I’m sure it must be very shocking to experience what they have………… R.I.P. young man.

  2. auslander says:

All due respect to the deceased and the others involved but it is against UK law for a 20 year old to be on this VFR800F bike.

The power output of the VFR800F is around 80KW.

    • Truth is killin' me... says:

That’s the problem. The laws are made for a reason whether you like them or not. There are too many people breaking the laws in the UK as well as in Bermuda. In my day you could never ride down the street with your bike sounding like a tractor engine because you would have your bike impounded and choppoed up by “Boxhead” in the impound lot but it happens here everyday now! The new norm!!

    • Alex says:

Under the old license rules it’s legal. If it was issued before January 1, 2013 then he would be able to ride that bike.

Oh my damn. God bless he’s soul and he’s family. So young. Such a tragedy. And bless the driver of the car too

  4. MAKE MY DAY says:

Too bad someone lost his life at 20 yrs of age….I wonder who was at fault – I guess we will eventually find out!!! Those bikes are very powerful and fast!! Something to think about!!!

    • sage says:

It doesn’t make any difference how “powerful or fast” the bike was if the car driver was at fault. Aren’t cars as fast and powerful, we sell cars with moderate power(< 200bhp) and even turbos, yet we can only ride learner bikes with less horsepower than some lawnmowers.
