Photos: Sand Sculpture Contest At Horseshoe
[Updated] Some 20 teams have signed up for today’s [Aug 30] Sand Sculpture Competition at Horseshoe Bay Beach, and the officials are expecting more to register this morning.
A spokesperson said, “Despite the ominous skies this morning the 19th Annual Bermuda Sand Sculpture Competition will proceed today. A little rain if it does occur is actual good for sand sculptures building as it helps to bind the sand.
“Thus far there are 20 teams signed up and the officials are expecting more to register this morning. Registration is free and there are still spots available.
“Registration starts at 10am and the competitors must be finished by 4pm to day when a panel of three judges will choose the winners.”
