Tourism Experiences Workshop Registration
Registration is now open for the Bermuda Tourism Authority’s second round of Tourism Experiences workshop designed to provide information and guidance to entrepreneurs seeking support for new and existing tourism experiences.
The 1-day workshop will be held twice, on Thursday September 4th from 1pm to 4.30pm and Friday September 5th 2014 from 9am to 12.30pm to ensure all of those interested can attend. The workshops will be held at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI].
The workshops will cover three areas identified in the National Tourism Plan such as sports, arts and culture and unique experiences that are considered integral in the improvement of Bermuda’s overall tourism product. The guidance provided at the workshops will help to develop entrepreneurial ideas that attract visitors to the island and provide unique experiences for visitors once on island.
The workshops will also set the foundation for entrepreneurs as they prepare proposals for the Tourism Experiences Investment process that will begin receiving submissions at the close of the Friday workshop.
Entrepreneurs wanting to attend one of the workshops are welcomed to register online. They will be required to create an account that will be used to register attendance at the workshop as well as for the Experiences Investment submission process. Those not ready to submit a proposal are still welcome to register for the workshops. Deadline for workshop registration is Friday, August 29, 2014.
