Tucker Does It Again, Grabs Catch Record
Janeiro Tucker — aka Mr Cup Match — continues to cement his name in the record books, with his catches this afternoon [Aug 1] making him the all-time record holder for the most catches in Cup Match.
Prior to today, the record was 25 catches — jointly held by Charles Marshall and Amon Hunt — and Tucker tied the record at 25, and then followed up with another catch to set a new record of 26 catches.
This is far from the first Cup Match honour Tucker has achieved, as last year the cricketer claimed two notable distinctions; becoming the all time leading run scorer and the first player to score four centuries in Cup Match.

Somerset Forever!!!!!
That’s the hallmark of an allrounder – when you have a bad day at the crease, you make up for it in the field! He will eventually retire and St.Georges fans would be rejoicing, no one can take away his achievements!!
