Live Blog: Somerset Wins 2014 Cup Match

[Updating: Somerset wins] Camping, concerts, parties, and, of course, the much anticipated Somerset vs St. George’s cricket match are all on the agenda for this years Cup Match holiday, bringing everyone on the island together as they support their favorite team and enjoy themselves.

With its storied history, Cup Match brings with it the usual excitement and celebrations in 2014, with thousands of people expected to make their way to Somerset Cricket Club for the two day event.

Besides the match itself, celebrants will also attend other events, such as BeachFest and Soca vs Reggae, as well as visiting friends and family at various camp sites, and much more, celebrating the holiday in a multitude of different ways.
