UK Press Highlights X Factor Star In Bermuda
The UK press has highlighted the filming of the hit TV show “X Factor” in Bermuda, with numerous articles appearing online today, mostly focusing on the presence of English star Tulisa Contostavlos.
A slew of major websites including MSN UK, MTV UK, Mirror, London Evening Standard, Hello Magazine, Irish Mirror, Daily Mail, Daily Star, and the Huffington Post UK are featuring coverage of Ms. Contostavlos in Bermuda, with most the articles showcasing photos of the star in a white bikini on a Bermuda beach.
A Daily Mail article opened with the headline, “What a place to kick things off! Tulisa shows off toned figure as she makes TV return in white bikini during filming for The X Factor in Bermuda.
“The hitmaker was spotted filming on a stunning beach in Southampton, Bermuda, while showing off her toned tum in a classic white bikini.
“The 26-year-old is thought to be joining judge Louis Walsh for the judges’ houses stage of the ITV1 show after a rollercoaster of a year.
“Tulisa, who is staying at the Fairmont Southampton hotel, looked stunning in her skimpy two-piece, complete with twist detailing on the bust, while her long tresses were left down.”
Ms. Contostavlos posted the photo below to her more than 300,000 Instagram and 3.5 million Twitter followers with the caption, “It’s a Bermudiful day,” drawing more than 8,000 likes in the first hour alone.
The Express also picked up the story saying,”The singer, who was recently cleared of drug charges, was spotted filming scenes for her return to this year’s X Factor – where she will act as a guest judge for Louis Walsh – and certainly wasn’t shy of showing off a bit of skin for her arrival.
“Clearly keen to show off her gym honed figure, the 26-year-old was spotted emerging from the ocean in Bermuda, where Louis’s acts will find themselves on the judge’s houses section of the talent show.”
DigitalSpy also ran an article in which they referred to Bermuda as the Somers Isles, saying, “Walsh is believed to be currently shooting the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition in the Somers Isles, and Contostavlos was seen sporting a white bikini while being instructed by a film crew.”
Closer Online also took notice of the star’s return and her Bermuda platform, saying, “Tulisa has made her triumphant return to The X Factor – and she looks great!
“The former judge, 26, was in Bermuda this week filming for the singing competition, where she is thought to be jointing Louis Walsh for his judge’s houses round.”
When the fact the hit TV show would be filming in Bermuda was announced, Bermuda Tourism Authority CEO Bill Hanbury said, “Hosting The X Factor Judges Houses is a fantastic platform to introduce a new generation to Bermuda. Bermuda will match the excitement of the show with the island’s energy and inspiring locations.
“The X Factor broadcast will showcase Bermuda to nearly 10 million viewers in the UK, our top European feeder market. This is one of the many initiatives BTA has in place for Bermuda to reach its tourism goals.”
The show is being filmed in Bermuda this week, and will broadcast in the UK across ITV & ITV2 later this year.

Will we reform our laws to accommodate Louie Walsh, or the working poor Ibiza Brits who save enough to come here for a pub crawl vacation?
Will everyone on the cast and crew require Work Permits?
If they don’t it means that the crew that wanted to come here to film about the Middleton case were mistreated.
None of them should need work permits. We have lost so much free advertising from past policies haveing to have work permits for things like this. Open Bermuda to the world and we will all prosper
Some regretfully cannot miss the opportunity for a negative comment. Previous articles have stated that they do, in fact, have all the necessary permits.
