After a solid summer season with the Great Lake Canadians travel team, Bermudian Adam Hall recently competed in Tournament 12 at Rogers Centre in Toronto, home of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Tournament 12 is a showcase event for 160 of the top Canadian high school aged, draft eligible baseball players and is hosted by the Blue Jays Baseball Academy. Hall, as a 15 year old sophomore, was one of the youngest players in the event.

The showcase began with a workout day in front of the 100 plus college and pro scouts in attendance. Hall had the second fastest 60 yard time at 6.5 seconds, showed a strong arm during infield throws and hit for contact and power to all fields during BP. Prep Baseball Reports selected him as the top performer for the workout day.

In tournament play Hall led all players in RBI’s and impressed with several stellar plays in the infield. He was selected as the tournament’s all-star short stop.

Following his strong play over the summer and great showing at Tournament 12, Adam has been invited to participate in the selection camp for Canada’s Junior National [18U] team taking place in Orlando, Florida from October 2-12.

Hall is a graduate of the Y.A.O. baseball program in Bermuda, where he played until he was 12 years old.
