Photo Set #2: Hurricane Gonzalo Aftermath
Hurricane Gonzalo has now completely dissipated, but its direct hit on us last weekend left visible damage across the island and widespread power and communications outages, most of which have already been repaired.
The UK Royal Navy vessel HMS Argyll arrived in the area on Saturday providing a helicopter to assist officials in assessing damages caused by Gonzalo, while personnel from the Bermuda Regiment, Parks Department, Work & Engineering all worked to clear the roads.
