PLP Banquet Rescheduled Until November 22

October 21, 2014

Due to Hurricane Gonzalo, the PLP have rescheduled their Annual Banquet, moving it from October 25 to November 22.

A spokesperson said, “Due to recent Hurricane Gonzalo’s effect on Bermuda, the Progressive Labour Party would like to announce the rescheduling of our 47th Annual Banquet. The banquet, originally scheduled for Saturday, October 25, will now be held on Saturday, November 22. All other details remain the same.

“Those that have purchased tickets already will have these tickets honoured for the new date, and any groups or organizations that have purchased corporate tables will have them designated for the new date as well.

“If for some reason you have purchased a ticket or table and are unable to attend on November 22, then please contact the office at 292-2264 and a refund will be processed.

“We look forward to seeing you all on November 22 at the PLP’s 47th Annual Banquet.”

what does one thing have to do with another? they are not at all linked or even related.

      • Creamy says:

Really? Will COH officials be having a table at the banquet this year again, paid for out of COH funds?

Oh yeah, they’re not related at all.

  2. aceboy says:

    Oh they are related….yes indeed.

I guess Oct 25th has been spared as a waste of a night, now November 22nd, will be the next waste of a night??? GOOD GRIEF!

  4. Mr ED says:

PLP why don’t you just take the $12,000 to $15,000 dollars that your going to spend on this high wheeled affair and
divide it up and help your supporters who have real medical and finacial problems.
This Banquet is a waste of money and it shows that your willing to spend a lot of money even when the ecconomic conditions are not at its best.— since your allways hammering down on the OBA for spending money you should be
    part of the example.

Now Mr ED, “that’s callin’ a spade a spade” e.g. “since your always hammering down on the OBA for spending money you should be part of the example”. Yeah right, “dat-a-b-da-day” :-(
