Video: “X Factor” Bermuda Show Preview
The “X Factor” segment featuring Bermuda will be aired on UK television this evening [Oct 3], with the show’s producers releasing a short preview clip online earlier today.
The promo text for today’s episode on the official X Factor website says, “As the only X Factor Judge to have won the show with a group, Tulisa is probably the best Guest Judge this lot could have had. And what was her advice? ‘Make sure that when you stand up there that it is your moment. Take it and go for it.”
“Will they listen? And more importantly, who will be the first to hug bikini clad Tulisa after she emerges from the sea? Clue: It’s all the boys! Find out how they get on tonight in the first of our three Judges’ Houses show at 9pm on ITV.”
Currently in its 11th series, The X Factor is one of the UK’s most talked about entertainment show and includes Simon Cowell on judges panel, joined by singer Cheryl Cole, Spice Girl Mel B, and renowned music manager Louis Walsh.
Mr. Walsh visited Bermuda for the filming, and said: “Not only have I got the strongest category this year but by far the best destination. Bermuda has been on my to do list for quite some time so this is a trip of a lifetime.”
The veteran entertainment manager got into the Bermuda spirit by donning a pair of TABS Bermuda shorts for the filming.
Speaking previously, Bermuda Tourism Authority CEO Bill Hanbury said, “Hosting The X Factor Judges Houses is a fantastic platform to introduce a new generation to Bermuda. Bermuda will match the excitement of the show with the island’s energy and inspiring locations.
“The X Factor broadcast will showcase Bermuda to nearly 10 million viewers in the UK, our top European feeder market. This is one of the many initiatives BTA has in place for Bermuda to reach its tourism goals.”
The show filmed in Bermuda from August 20th – 23rd.

Have just watched this show tonight. Can honestly say that Bermuda looks the prettiest island out of all four destinations that the judges filmed at. I hope this broadcast will really help to place Bermuda on the map for tourism. People forget that it is only 6 hours distance from London to Bermuda.

Just watched it and Bermuda looked great. I was very worried with the terrible weather they had while here, but they managed very well. Nice bit of exposure for Bermuda.
