New Ice Cream: Holiday Eggnog & Rum Eggnog
Alex & Pete’s Bermuda Artisan Ice Cream has unveiled its newest hand-crafted and hand-packed limited edition ice cream flavours; Holiday Eggnog and Holiday Rum Eggnog, which includes splashes of Gosling’s Black Rum.
Available only for the holidays, the new small batch flavours can be found at grocery stores across the island, and in select cafes and restaurants. The company also added that the newly opened Devil’s Isles Cafe is now featuring Alex & Pete’s ice creams, including exclusive flavours Alex’s Vanilla and Coffee Buzz.
Alex & Pete’s owner and chef Peter Jovetic created his latest flavour combining freshly ground nutmeg and spices with slow-churned cream. One version of the Holiday Eggnog is plain – the other is finished with splashes of Gosling’s Black Rum.
“We are pleased to offer these two new seasonal flavours and they are the perfect complement to your holiday desserts,” said chef Peter Jovetic. “Our ice cream continues to sell very well and we are heartened by the loyalty and positive feedback from our customers. We consider Alex & Pete’s a great food experience that’s fresh and local!”
Other flavours include St. George’s Black Rum & Ginger, St David’s Black Rum & Raisin and Rum Swizzle – made with Outerbridge’s Original Bermuda Rum Swizzle Mix. Chef Peter’s small-batch creations also include hot seller – Old Fashioned Pineapple Sherbet, as well as Hog Bay Chocolate & Brownie Chunk, Southampton Sea Salt Caramel and Riddell’s Bay Chocolate Ripple.
The ice cream is available at both Lindo’s supermarkets, Miles Market, The Supermart in Hamilton, Harrington Hundreds, Somers Supermarket and Selena’s Restaurant in St. George’s, Meltdown in the Old Cellar Lane, Bermuda Bistro at The Beach, and Blu bar and grill.

I tried their sherbert and I don’t recommend it? How is the icecream?
It would be helpful to have contact info on the containers. No raisins were in the Rum Raisin – wished to report so you could check the batch.
I just cant stop myself from buying this ice cream – had almost every flavor available and I am not normally an ice cream lover, but they are so goodddd………..sending my husband out today to get the latest creation and he had better come home with it. Can’t wait to have it for my once a week treat tonight – ok I lied atleast 3 times a week treat LOL
