Junior Riders Shine At Atlanta Youth Festival
Robin Stempel and Kayla Bardgett competed at the Atlantic Youth Dressage Festival October 25-26, 2014. Both riders competed in a three part competition. The competition consisted of a written test, an equitation score and riding a Training Level dressage test in the 12 and under category.
Robin riding Nic of Time received an 86 on her written test placing her 2nd. She received a 60.2% on riding her dressage test placing her 6th. Her equitation score was 100 placing her 2nd, Robin received an overall placing of Reserve Champion for the division.
Kayla Bardgett on Wallstreet’s Credo
Kayla riding Wallstreet’s Credo received an 81 on her written test placing her 5th. She received a 68,3% on riding her dressage test placing her 3rd. Her equitation score was a 66 placing her 5th. Kayla was 6th overall for the division.
Coached by Abby Bardgett, both riders competed on borrowed horses provided by Michelle Smith, who was instrumental in arranging for Bermuda to participate in this event.
