Tennis Players Start Competing In Mexico

The Second Edition of the ITF/GSDF 12 & COTECC Team Masters Tournament got underway in Mexico, with Bermuda going down 3 – 0 to the host.

Ben Jones was first on the court and he fell in straight sets 6-0, 6-4 to Emiliano Aquilera. Coach Steve Bean said, “Lines played much better in the second set.”

Ricky Mallory then went down in a highly competitive match which could have gone either way 7-5, 6-4 to Mario Duron.

Jones and Mallory then went down in the Doubles 6-1, 6-4 to Aquilera and Duron. Bermuda will take on Guatemala in their next match.
