Tyler Butterfield Finishes 9th In Noosa, Australia

Bermuda’s Tyler Butterfield finished 9th in the Noosa Triathlon in Australia this past weekend, clocking a time of 1:51:06.

Defending champion Aaron Royle won his second consecutive Noosa Triathlon crown after he outsprinted Commonwealth Games teammates Dan Wilson and Ryan Bailie in a dramatic finish to cross the line in 1:47:56.

Butterfield clocked 19:08 on the swim, 57:53 on the bike before closing out with a time of 34:04 on the run course.

Billed as Australia’s largest, oldest, and highest profile triathlon event, Noosa is the third largest Olympic distance triathlon in the world.
