BNA Netball Sees Action In Three Divisions
The Bermuda Netball Association saw a number of games played this past weekend, with action taking place in the Under 12, Under 16, and Senior Divisions.
Under 12 Division
In Under 12 action, the Netts White defeated the North Village Lady Rams 20 – 7. A’Maiah Butterfield led the Netts White to victory with 16 goals, while Ziddonnae Robinson chipped in with four goals. Toya Anderson scored five goals for the Lady Rams, while Jai-La Wade added another two goals.
The Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds Too defeated the Warriors 16 – 3. Kemiah Butterfield scored three goals for the Warriors.
Under 16 Division
In the Under 16 Division, Donnauri Robinson scored 11 goals to lead the Signworx Netts to a 22 – 9 win over the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors. Teyah Lindo added seven goals, while Marley Simons scored thre goals and Chanara Smith Rookes scored once.
Demiqua Daniels scored five goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Juniors, Zye Rayner scored twice, Kiara Francis and Deja Harvey added a goal each.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Young Men Social Club Bluebird Young’uns 14 – 10. Brianna Swainson scored eight goals to lead the North Village Lady Rams to victory, while Xon-Naye Hunt scored six goals.
The Datatech Netts defeated PHC 23 – 11. Kaamilah Nasir scored 13 goals to lead the Datatech Netts to victory, with Maya Saunders adding 10 goals. Taznae Fubler scored six goals for PHC.
Senior Division
The Signworx Netts defeated Bermuda College 70 – 11 – Amali Smith led the way with 35 goals and Diara Benjamin chipped in with 15 goals, while Micah Pond scored 12 goals and Nia Daley added eight goals to the total.
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too 32 – 27. Keizhari Knight scored 19 goals for the Young Men Social Club Bluebirds Too, who also got six goals from T’yanna Hayward and two goals from Shondenae Woods-Bell.
Danielle Raynor scored 46 goals to lead the Young Men Social Club Lady Bluebirds to a 49 – 30 win over the WWC Pink Panthers. Arkeita Fubler added three goals, while Darrika Simons scored 20 goals for the WWC Pink Panthers, with Nikita Trott adding 10 goals.
