Catlin Bermuda Donates $42,000 To Charity
This evening [Dec 16] Catlin Bermuda surprised seven local charities with an early Christmas gift, as they aimed to spread some pre-holiday cheer and acknowledge the vital work these organisations undertake.
The recipients were:
- The Bermuda Islands Association of the Deaf
- Big Brothers Big Sisters
- Bermuda Sloop Foundation
- Greenrock
- Open Airways
- SCARS
- Bermuda Overseas Mission
Each charity was given a $6,000 donation from Catlin Bermuda, for a total amount of $42,000.
Graham Pewter, CEO of Catlin Bermuda said, “For several years now we have held this informal event for a small number of local charities and our staff. At a time of giving, this serves as a reminder to all of us how important it is to support non-profit organisations that do so much to support our community.”
