Collision Involving Car & Taxi In Hamilton Parish
A 55-year-old taxi driver was taken to hospital for treatment of neck and back pain after his taxi collided with a car on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish this morning.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:15am on Monday, December 15th first responders were dispatched to a reported two vehicle collision on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Workmen’s Lane.
“It appears that a taxi and a car were being driven along North Shore Road when the vehicles collided. The taxi driver, a 55 year old Warwick man, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of neck and back pain.
“No other injuries were reported; however both vehicles were damaged.
“Inquiries are ongoing and any witnesses should contact Constable Kyle Outerbridge at the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.”
