Man Charged: Inciting People To Kill Politicians

January 30, 2015

Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Jan 30], a 37-year-old man faced charges related to allegedly posting a message on Facebook calling  on gun owners to kill a politician.

Jahmain Coddington, who was wearing a W&E uniform in Court today, was released on $10,000 bail after pleading not guilty.

The charge alleged that earlier this week, Mr Coddington had posted a message on his Facebook page calling on all gun owners to kill a politician daily.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted bail of $10,000 with a surety, and required Mr Coddington to report to the Hamilton Police Station and is due back in Court later this month.
