PLP Extends Condolences To The Busby Family
The Progressive Labour Party tonight [Jan 22] extended condolences after the passing of west end centenarian resident Iola Busby, saying “The PLP joins with the Sandys community, family and friends in mourning the passing of Mrs. Iola Busby.”
Sandys South MP Jamahl Simmons remarked, “As many Bermudians may know, Mrs. Busby last August celebrated her 102nd birthday, but her life was far more than her longevity. It was the joy and wisdom she brought to all who knew her. Our prayers got out to her family.”
