Fairmont Donates To Hospitals Charitable Trust

Following this year’s Fairmont to Fairmont Race, the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club, The Fairmont Southampton, and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess have made a donation of $6,640 to the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust.

A spokesperson said, “Following the successful 2015 38th Annual Fairmont to Fairmont Race, the Mid Atlantic Athletic Club, The Fairmont Southampton, and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess were proud to donate $6,640 to the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust.”

Hundreds turned out to take part in the 2015 Fairmont to Fairmont Road Race that saw juniors starting from Heron Bay along with walkers starting at Hamilton Princess.

The runners left the Hamilton hotel location with eventual winner Bryan Huberty, and Jay Donawa leading the group and staying neck in neck with each other throughout the route.

Huberty crossed the line in a time of 39:58, with Jay Donawa finishing second in 40:21. Rose-Anna Hoey was the first female finisher and 6th across the line in a time of 45:31 while Jayden Ming won the junior race crossing the line in a time of 8:51. Lynsey Palmer was the first Junior female finisher clocking a time of 9:42. Complete race results can be found here.
