It would appear that appropriate restraint is being exercised by ministers. It is good that we are able to monitor these expenses, given the abuses of the past!

    • Sally knows it says:

Looks like some unnecessary spending in this time of critical spending cut-backs…. overspending by the OBA on their travel budget.

    • bobwehadababyitsaboy says:

And you think those number are actually accurate?

      • Jus' Wonderin' says:

        Yes, why wouldn’t they be?

      • serengeti says:

Ah yes, they don’t appear to be spending $100,000 a year on limos and $4,000 a night on 7-star hotels. That must mean the numbers are inaccurate. There can be no other explanation.

  2. Tolerate says:

    Queue armchair Travel Agents…

  3. Amazed says:

$628.90 to New York (Dr. Grant Gibbons) REALLY!!!!! Did he row over there and spend nights in the subway stations. This is not accurate at all.

    • James says:

No, this just goes to show why you need to elect well-off politicians. Grant Gibbons travels frugally because he does not mind spending his own money to food the bill for extras.

    • Creamy says:

So what do you think an economy ticket costs?

    • Raymond Ray says:

Dr. Grant Gibbons owns an apartment/condo. in N.Y.C. and yes, tickets can cost about that much…Obviously you haven’t or don’t travel much at all :-(

  4. mj says:

why do we attend insignificant events.. we do not have to accept all invitations, totally unnecessary! what has it achieved or will achieve, why not pray here with the people on island..US congress does not run our Parliament.

  5. el Ché BDA says:

I love how Mr. Richards managed to spend more in 2 months in the UK than many people make all year.
