More Graffiti Appears On Vehicle At The Airport

March 9, 2015

Following the appearance of more graffiti with the term “Isis”, the police said they “would like to reassure the public that to date neither the information from the public nor or own intelligence systems have raised any particular concerns in this regard.”

A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service responded to a report of willful damage [graffiti written on the dashboard of a vehicle with a black marker] that came to the attention of police on Friday at the L.F. Wade International Airport and police are working with Airport officials to find the persons responsible for this act.

“The Bermuda Police Service would like to reassure the public that to date neither the information from the public nor or own intelligence systems have raised any particular concerns in this regard.

“We are appealing to the community to play their part by simply passing on any information that may assist us in identifying the person or persons responsible for this minor act of vandalism. Anyone with any information to contact police on 2950011 or please call the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline number on 800-8477.”

This follows after the police responded to multiple instances of graffiti with similar slogans appearing at various places around Hamilton last month.

OK so that narrows it down considerably to someone who has Tarmac access at the airport, cool the suspect list just went from about 35,000 to around 30!

Its not the same person who wrote it in town.

    Minor?????

I would bet, if this person / persons are found, they will be placed on a no-fly list possibly worldwide. The U.S. will see to it that they won’t be traveling there!

I hope you are right and I also hope this is the work of some childish individual(s) and not some extremist. I hope that if and when they are caught, and if they are Bermudian they have their passport revoked and the privilege to travel pulled by having them denied entry by every gateway country.

If this is the work of someone not born here, fine them 25X the cost of all repairs to date, then send them crackin and report any country in hearing about an ISIS supporter.

On way or the other, we have some sick people here…sick if they think this if funny or sick if they support this.

      • Purple Koolaid says:

Sorry to clarify, I want the individual whether born here or not to be heavily fined to make an example of them.

That tug is older than most of the people working on the ramp.

If / when these individuals are identified and prosecuted will they be processed as terrorists?
