Court: Man Denies Shooting & Firearm Charges

March 2, 2015

Appearing in the Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments Session today [March 2], Princeton Shantoine Burrows, 24, pleaded not guilty to multiple counts related to the shooting outside of Somerset Cricket Club last year that saw four men injured.

The charges alleged that on 11 November 2014, Burrows had unlawfully attempted to cause grievous bodily by shooting four men and unlawfully possessed a firearm and ammunition.

Justice Carlyle Greaves ordered that Burrows must remain in custody until he re-appears at the April Arraignment Session, at which time a trial date will be set.
