Court: Shantoine Burrows Charged With Murder
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Feb 1], a 24-year-old man was charged with murdering Rickai Swan.
Shantoine Prinston Burrows faced charges that, in Southampton on 23rd October 2015, he killed Mr Swan and unlawfully wounded and caused grievous bodily harm to Damiko Gibbons.
He was also charged with using a firearm to commit the offences.
As the charges are indictable and can only be heard in the Supreme Court, he did not have to enter a plea. Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded him into custody until the March Arraignment Session.
