Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre Holiday Hours
Bermuda Hospitals Board said they wish the public a happy and safe holiday weekend, and noted that the Lamb Foggo Urgent Care Centre in St David’s will be open from 4pm to midnight on Good Friday, and from noon to midnight on Saturday and Sunday.
“Please note that if your condition is serious, attendance at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital may still be necessary. BHB also wishes to remind the public that emergency physicians attend to patients in the order of the severity of their condition. The poster below details the expected wait times, but please note this is a general guideline,” a spokesperson added.

I love the Urgent Care Center! I will go there even if I live in Sandys!
It is good to hear that this facility will be opened for the holiday weekend and I wish everyone a safe a Happy Easter, but, where do I go if I get a boo-boo at 12:00 noon on Good Friday. If anything, it should be opened all day Friday. Also can someone tell me what types of injuries fall under the categories you have posted. What do you consider an ‘acuity 1′ injury as opposed to an ‘acuity 5′ injury. There is very limited resources at this facility so just trying to clarify what is what…
On another note – All those travelling on the roads, please exercise extreme care and caution as there will be many people out and about. Please BE SAFE.. It would be great to see Saturday or Monday’s headline stating that Bermuda had a totally accident free holiday weekend.
Happy Easter to all.

Ty,Ty,
Sorry we did not see your response on Thursday. Your question on listing examples of conditions commensurate with the various acuity levels is a good one. They are as follows:
ESI Triage Acuity 1 – Cardiopulmonary arrest
ESI Triage Acuity 2 – Multiple traumas with significant injuries
Shock
ESI Triage Acuity 3 – High risk chest pain
Difficulty breathing in person with known lung disease
Significant gastro-intestinal bleeding
Severe Pain (renal colic, etc.)
ESI Triage Acuity 4 – Long standing / chronic medical problems
Minor, non-life threatening complaints (minor laceration, abrasions, ankle sprain, ear ache, sore throat, etc.
ESI Triage Acuity 5 – Immunisation; routine prescription renewal, etc.
Please note that the Urgent Care Centre is not equipped to cater to acuity situations greater than 4. This means if you have a condition that falls into acuity levels 1, 2 or 3, you will have to go to the Emergency Department at the Acute Care Wing.
