I give up…. I really don’t know what to say anymore!! It seems like a lot of people on the Island…are “hell bent on self-destruction!
DOES NO ONE LEARN ANYTHING – WHEN THEY ARE WITNESS TO PREVIOUS catastrophes??? Is everyone on a “suicide mission”??
You can critisize me all you want.. BUT, who has been a grieving spouse or parent to contend to!!
Bermudians…. You really need to get-a-grip on your road users … especially when the “speed limit ” is 35 kmh!!!
Saints please preserve…
We need to have a conversation, not with the insurance company ,the B.P.S. or the surgeon at K.E.M.H. but with our self, to some of you this suggestion will seem to be a little unusual.
However the process works as they teach this practice at the B.P.S. Advanced Driving Course.
I do not know what has caused this latest collision as there are many possibilities as to what went wrong.
We need to find a way of getting to point “B” with out a detour to K.E.M.H.
Previously, I along with many others I have mentioned the 2 second rule , which I can assure you, works !
The B.P.S. Advance Driving Course recommends that you mentally describe in detail the process of driving and controlling your vehicle .
Only you can make the difference.
Think out loud.
For Example :-
The roads are wet.
Maybe I should have waited.
I am being tail~ gated.
I think I need drive slower.
There is a lady with a child on the crossing.
There are two bikes behind me.
I am going to turn right.
I will give a turn signal early.
That was a near one.
Now ! where did I put my cell phone.
I left it home.
