National Academy Director Richard Todd Resigns
The Bermuda Football Association [BFA] confirmed that Richard Todd — who has been outspoken with his grievances — resigned the position of National Academy Director effective March 31, 2015, saying that he submitted his resignation on Friday, March 13, 2015.
A statement from the BFA said, “The BFA expresses its thanks to Mr. Todd for his time as National Academy Director for the BFA and for his involvement with the various national programmes. Additionally, the BFA expresses its thanks to Mr. Todd for his work with the Men’s National Team. We wish Mr. Todd every success in his future endeavours.
“The position of National Academy Director for the BFA is a paid part-time post with the responsibility of oversight of the National Academy programmes, its coaching staff and players. The BFA will advertise the vacancy with the aim of filling the position as quickly as possible.”
