Samsung Galaxy S6 & Edge Available At CellOne
CellOne today [Apr 15] announced the arrival of the next generation of Samsung smartphones – Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge — with prices starting at $799.
“These are two fantastic new additions to our lineup offering a dynamism smartphone users have been waiting for” says Schereene Outerbridge, CellOne Marketing Manager. “Customers will have the opportunity to choose between a sleek flat screen with the Galaxy S6 and the long awaited, highly anticipated curved screen with the Galaxy S6 Edge.”
CellOne said, “Samsung owners can look forward to upgraded sleek designs, increased efficiency with new chipsets and upgrades to security features such as the fingerprint sensor requiring a simple touch vs. a swipe.
“The phone manufacturer has also made noticeable improvements to both device display screens with enhanced brightness and contrast levels, easing the need for squinting while using the device in bright daylight.
“The new Galaxy S6 smartphone is now available at all three CellOne store locations: Church Street, Hamilton; Heron Bay Marketplace and York Street in St. George’s. Pricing with a two year commitment starts at $799 with the Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB soon to follow.”

The problem I have with cellphone makers is that the technology hasn’t changed that much in comparison to other electronics (tablets, tvs, etc) yet the prices are significantly higher and go up with each model.
Clearly we as consumers are sucked into having the latest at any cost (i’m not) and phone manufacturers are keen to hone in and maintain this trend.
It’s hard to believe people say their struggling yet have the latest phone and pay over $125 per month to keep it on.
@raw onions, totally agree with you!! My ” I Phone 4 ” is 4 years old now and I use it constantly all day everyday because of my business that gives me a very high standard of living and I would not consider replacing it until it died!!! I shake my head everyday at those that have meager incomes or none at all, that have the latest phones???? Priorities all wrong, my friend!!!!
Contract pricing starting at $800… very limited warranty coverage, overpriced repairs
