Woman Denies Stealing Salmon Steak, Sausage
Appearing in Magistrates Court this morning [Apr 7], a 55-year-old woman denied stealing $48 worth of salmon steak, ribeye steak, and sausage.
Susan Johnston pleaded not guilty to a charge of stealing salmon steak, boneless ribeye steak, and chourico sausage, all valued at around $48, from the Modern Mart in Paget on 6th April 2015.
Senior Magistrate Juan Wolffe set trial for June 2105 and set bail at $500 but required Ms Johnston to provide a surety in a like amount.
The Senior Magistrate also brought the matter of an outstanding fine, and gave Ms Johnston until 7th May to pay it.
