Appearing in Magistrates Court yesterday [May 26] Mr Shomari Virgil and Ms Precious Cooper were charged with importing some $300,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine and possessing the drugs with intent to supply.
The charges were that the drugs had been imported in St George’s in January 2015 and the Prosecutor told Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo that the street value of the drugs was alleged to be over $150,000 for the cannabis, and over $150,000 for the cocaine.
