Somersfield Academy hosted their Spring Fair today [May 16] from 10.00am through 4.00pm, with live entertainment and games throughout the day.
The Spring Fair’s attractions included a mega slide, melt down, kiddie land, Pitster Pro inflatable fun track, two motor bikes and safety equipment include helmets, elbow guards, and knee guards, face painting, bouncy castles, obstacle combo and more.

While the Spring Fair is a significant fundraiser for Somersfield Academy, the students also believe that having the opportunity to be hydrated for free was an added benefit for the local community given today’s economic challenges.
An initiative by P6 Somersfield Innovations Programme students saw the Somersfield Spring Fair replace plastic water bottles with their greener re-fillable counterparts. “At this year’s Spring Fair, water will be free for all who bring a reusable container,†explained the P6 students leading up to the fair.
