Queen St. In St. George To Close For 24 Hours
The Corporation of St. George said they wish to “advise the motoring public that Queen Street will be closed to motor vehicles this afternoon, 11th May 2015 for a 24 hour period in order to conduct necessary repairs.”
“The area of road between Printer’s Alley and Chapel Lane will be affected by the road works,” a spokesperson said.
“Residents are requested to gain access via Duke Kent Street whilst these necessary repairs are being undertaken. The Corporation of St. George apologizes in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused.
“The public’s patience during this time is greatly appreciated as the Corporation continues to make necessary repairs and improvements to the Town for future enjoyment.”
