Taylor Rankin To Perform Three Shows In June
Musician Taylor Rankin, along with his violin Leroy and Dwight Hart on drums, is getting set to present LeroyFest in Bermuda, with three shows featuring 12 guest artists scheduled for June.
The shows will take place on June 19 at the Bermuda Society of Arts, June 26 at the Bermuda Aquarium, and on June 27 at Chewstick Lounge. Tickets for each show are $45, with BSoA members eligible for prices of $40 for the June 19 show, and are available at ptix.bm.
Mr. Rankin’s official website says, “Back in Bermuda after 5 years exploring and touring the world, come experience Taylor Rankin and his violin Leroy with drummer Dwight Hart at some special venues.”
“The boys will bring you into the journey they’ve been on out in the world and into the imagination and weirdness of Rankin and Leroy.
“Experience their unique groove, see the violin Leroy, DJ scratch and soulfully scream as Taylor manipulates his voice from accents to styles around the world. You will for sure find yourself skankin to the violin like you’ve never before.
“On top of all this, 12 surprise guest artists [3-5 per night] will seamlessly collaborate and mingle within the shows.
“Each show will be a unique experience, the BSOA – a groovy show lined with surprises, the Aquarium – a mini festival with two shows in one night and guest artists at mini venues around the aquarium, Chewstick at their new venue on Front Street. Come escape, release and enjoy.”
