Update On King’s Square Restroom Renovations

The Corporation of St. George in updating the public today [May 27] on the status of the works on the King’s Square Restrooms have said “the last of the fixtures will arrive on island and be delivered for installation over the next few days”.

Town Manager and Secretary Candy-Lee Foggo said, “The extensive renovation works commenced in January 2015 and was expected to be completed by the end of April 2015. Due to circumstances beyond our control the restrooms have not been completed and remain out of service.

“It is anticipated that the last of the fixtures will arrive on island and be delivered for installation over the next few days.

“The public are reminded that restroom facilities remain available on Ordnance Island, Penno’s Wharf Ferry Terminal and Somers Gardens.

“The Corporation takes this opportunity to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to the project and ask the public’s continued patience and understanding.

“The Corporation of St. George apologizes for the delay in completing the restroom and apologizes for the inconvenience.”

    Still ain’t complete????? Wow. This is a pi$$y situation.
    If it takes over Five months to renovate restrooms it’ll prob take 23 years to renovate a 1 bedroom house.
