  5. What else is happening?…this is the surface…what is underlying?…this could well be a pre arranged ploy to remove whatever from wherever…trash, clothing, baggage left unsecured, landing gear maint.,The odds are too much against this happening as many times…the she way or similar…could this be contrived?

  7. James says:

These flights are full of working class folk on cheap package holidays and they like to get hammered on the plane.

Full of smart people who are not going to Bermuda to get ripped off and made to feel like they are an inconvenience as they are handed their $15 cocktail. Its all inclusive in Jamaica.

We see once again another Thomson Airways flight divert to Bermuda. They fly regular flights overhead onward to other Caribbean destination. So, once again, I ask the Government of the day,(as I’d done for countless years prior)why don’t we see flights stopping off here to disembark some of them passenger that wish to fly less expensive flights to Bda. also this will permit locals to travel directly to other destinations that are to our South? Why must B.A. have this monopoly?
It should / would be a win – win opportunity for all locals as well as other parties…

  9. Yes I says:

It was most likely a medical diversion. Pilots don’t divert to any airport other than the intended destination unless it’s an emergency. There’s no “ploy”!

This happens to be my family on board (English) and one of them has been taken seriously unwell, and now 2 of my family members and their 2 young children are stranded in Bermuda with no luggage, nowhere to stay and are being asked to pay a ridiculous amount of money to get to Jamaica. This person was NOT drunk, they are seriously unwell.
