I was gôing by the airport, witnessed the landing of the airplane and gathering of all the emergency vehicles and personel. I’m impressed with the coordination and efficiency of all involved. Hats off to all these fine workers!

You know, I’m not a firm supporter of the PLP but this comment made by altered beast is uncalled for and very childish. The gentleman on that flight fell ill and that’s it. No PLP or UBP even OBA should be mentioned

Grow up and act your age

    • Ami Ex-pat says:

Best wishes for the man in hospital. Actually it’s the fault of the poor, pitiful republican party across the pond, methinks.

  4. Tee says:

You people are so heartless. I am so happy the pilot was allowed to land without being forced to say “Good Evening.” Whatever this person’s illness is I hope for a speedy recovery.

  7. Pondering says:

I wish the passenger a speedy recovery.

That said, can someone tell me why Bermuda is such a limited gateway when it comes to certain airlines flying here?

    • david says:

the landing was really hard… i was on that plane ican’t believe that was happened

  8. Victor says:

I wish the passenger a speedy recovery and trust KEMH are taking good care of him. Perhaps the gentleman might even get to enjoy a bit of a Bermuda vacation.

In the meantime, that was a very big looking plane so I hope Mr. Furbert is not planning and stuffing the arrivals figures with all those folks on board…

  9. Bad News Bear says:

The PLP are not be to blame for it but I bet they use the number of passengers to boost their tourism numbers.

  10. To be Honest says:

It is amazing how many flights fly over or near Bermuda to go to other destinations.

    • Triangle Drifter says:

What is so amazing about it? Bermuda happens to be on the great circle route, shortest distance, from a number of European cities to points south of here.

Nothing amazing about it at all.
