Photos: NVCC Host Harold “Doc” Dowling Day
Inclement weather this morning did not stop members of the community from coming out when North Village Community Club held Harold “Doc” Dowling Day today [June 27] with activities kicking off at 11.00am.
The day included a fun walk, team games including football, softball, and netball, family games, a free lunch, and refreshments available for sale. Referees were kept busy at the netball game as men and women took to the court for a competitive game that was filled with laughter and fun.

Well done North Village, I was glad to read and see pictures of a nice event put on by your club, I had a nice chuckle when I saw the men playing netball, I’ll like to see more of this with other clubs, all round sports played by the loyal fans of their respective clubs.
