New Short Course Swimming Records Set
After verifying recent results following the Swim Ontario Summer Festival, June 27th- 28th, 2015 held in London, Ontario, Canada and the Barry Hanson Open held at the BASA Pool on July 11th, 2015, the Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association has updated their short course meter records.

9 and 10 Girls
Elan Daley broke her own 50m Freestyle record of 29:37 set on May 9th, 2015, when she touched the wall in 29.06, Daley also set a new 100m Freestyle record clocking a time of 1:04.85, breaking her own record of 1:05.14 on May 9th, 2015.
Daley set a new 200m Freestyle record of 2:21.94, breaking Ashley Irby’s record of 2:26.14 set on June 10, 2012, Daley set a new 200m Backstroke clocking 2:35.54, breaking Emma Harvey’s record of 2:42.24 set on June 9th, 2012 and Daley set a new 100m Breaststroke record of 1:24.96, breaking her own record of 1:25.63 set on May 8th, 2015.
9 and 10 Boys
Elijah Daley set a new 200m Backstroke record of 2:51.89, breaking Nicholas Thomson’s record of 2:56.00 set on June 8th, 2002.

Elan Daley set a new 50m Butterfly record of 32.03, breaking Emma Harvey’s record of 0:32.56 set on October 14th, 2012, Daley also set a new 100m Individual Medley touching the wall in a time of 1:13.80, breaking Emma Harvey’s record of 1:16.34 on July 14th, 2012 and then Daley set a new 200m Individual Medley record of 2:46.46, breaking Emma Harvey’s record of 2:46.63 set on June 10th, 2012.
13 and 14 Girls
Emma Harvey broke her own 100m Butterfly record of 1;08.08 set on February 21st, 2015, when she clocked a time of 1:05.48.
13 and 14 Boys
Ethan Daley broke a record that stood for more than 25 years in the 100m Individual Medley clocking a time of 1:06.85, breaking Geri Mewett’s record of 1:07.10 set on August 1st, 1989.
