Terceira & Nisbett Both Advance In Toronto
Bermudian equestrian Jillian Terceira and Patrick Nisbett both recorded clear rounds in the first round of the Pan American Games Horse Jumping Event to Advance to the Second Round.
Terceira, riding Tamerino, was the 7th competitor in the Show Ring. Terceira said, “Tamerino put the early concerns about competing in the event to rest because he travelled well and seemed to be ready for the occasion, the course was actually a good one for my horse because it flowed which Tamerino really likes, so all in all it was a good round and we are looking forward to Thursday.”
Nisbett and Quick Z also performed well with Nisbett saying about his five year old horse, “To go in as aa youngster and perform at the Pan American Games was good for him, I know at the beginning he showed a few nerves, but when I asked hm to go it was all good,”
Chef d’equipe Heidi Mello said, “Both done really well as I expected, this is not their first Pan American Games and I am expecting them to make the Final Cut on Thursday and have a chance in the Medal Round on Saturday.”
Congratulations…Credit given where earned!
