Two Females Injured In Collision On Malabar Rd
Two females were treated for injuries following a collision this morning [Aug 11] on Malabar Road in Sandys involving a car and a motorcycle.
A police spokesperson said, “Police responded to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision that took place on Tuesday morning at 3:25am on Malabar Road in Sandys near the entrance to Lefroy House.
“Details are sketchy at this point but it appears that a motorcycle with a pillion passenger collided with car on Malabar Road.
“As a result the rider of the motorcycle and the pillion passenger were taken to the hospital, with the 18 year old female rider being treated for a shoulder injury and the 19 female pillion passengers was also treated for minor cuts and abrasions.
“Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this collision to contact the police on 295-0011.”
